It's just Jon and her for today's trip, as they're walking through the shady area of Route 117. It's a peaceful, quiet day and Cass could not be more grateful for that. "It's going to be summer soon, huh? Well, first these months of school ..." It's picked up now again, and ... It's like a stone has manifested inside of Cass, now threatening to drag her to the bottom of the ocean proper, now that she hasn't considered it for a few weeks.

Jon picks up on the sudden drop in her mood, and rustles, doing his best to cheer her up. She smiles faintly, and nuzzles him a bit, not minding the garbage smell at all. "My sweeet boy, thank you very much."

They've spent a relaxing, quiet hour taking a walk on the route, before deciding that it would be time to head back. Cass seems to be getting more frowns and concerned looks than usual when she's travelling with Jon - these people with bad taste, truly !! - so she just doubles down on not minding it and goes on about her own business.

That is, until she gets home, greets her mother briefly, and then trots into her room, taking off her backpack.

...

"Huh?" She stares right into the red eye that is staring right back. A Silcoon seems to have ... attached itself somehow to her backpack, and she has not noticed at all the entire time. "Oh, I'm really sorry, for just ... taking you like this." There is no reaction from the eye, until it starts wondering. It seems to start become curious about its surroundings, and Cass would happily, carefully, detach it from her backpack to show around. "Here, have a look ... oh, are you interested in these pictures?" She's printed out several bug pokémon images, and especially some Beautiflies and Vivillon were at the top of the pile on her desk. "You're going to become one of them, too, here one of those in particular." She points to a Beautifly, then pauses.

"Would you like me to help you get there?" she asks, taking out a pokéball. The Silcoon seems to ponder for a moment, before shaking, seemingly in approval. "If I misunderstood, please just wiggle yourself free again, deal?" She gently taps the Silcoon with the ball, watching it disappear into the pokéball.
